I had some private items shipped from Switzerland to Thailand. The value of the goods was less than CHF 1500.00. The Swiss company which I commissioned with the task charged me CHF 600.00 for packaging, shipping and administration, which was ok. Jet8 charged me a ridiculous sum of CHF 750.00 for unloading the freight and customs administration work. The higher amount for the much smaller task? Well, it's a very nasty rip-off! Before commissioning this company, ask for a proper offer.
